Using Nature to Teach Science

July 27, 2021 @ 8:30 am - July 28, 2021 @ 5:00 pm

| $40 – $100

The Golden Triangle Curriculum Cooperative (GTCC) is offering this event as part of their 2021 Summer Institute.

This course will help you take learning OUTSIDE and bring the outdoors IN. Montana Outdoor Science School has been helping kids and adults learn from nature since 1994. As a former instructor, current Education Director and certified Master Naturalist, Molly Ward is well-qualified to help you get to know your school yard in a brand new way. The class will bring you new resources, sense of place, nature journaling techniques and tips on outdoor classroom management. We will also explore classroom animals – MOSS has several animal ambassadors and some may make guest appearances. We will be outside for the class and spend a lot of time learning through exploration and hands-on activities.

Visit the GTCC website for more information about this event and the 2021 Summer Institute course offerings.
