Get ready to cut, glue, act, play and learn! Participants will leave this two-day workshop with many varied and useful ideas ready to implement; including project-based learning strategies, classroom management supports and tools for teaching in a multigrade classroom. We will make and take several projects for Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies, that will accommodate Grades K-8. Project Based Learning (PBL) is a teaching method in which students learn by actively engaging in real-world and personally meaningful projects. Teachers who differentiate instruction using kinesthetic, visual, auditory, and tactile are more effective. Research has demonstrated that engaging students in the learning process increases their attention and focus, motivates them to practice higher-level critical thinking skills, and promotes meaningful learning experiences. These lessons will inspire you and spark your teaching with creativity in a different way.
