The Golden Triangle Curriculum Cooperative (GTCC) is offering this event as part of their 2021 Summer Institute.

Combining visuals with words is more powerful together than either alone. Come learn how to incorporate visual supports in your classroom to support student achievement. This content can be embedded into any content area. Multiple subject areas will be used to “illustrate” how to engage students. Participants will learn how to: teach basic visual info-doodling, note taking, and/or sketch-noting skills to their students; building in strategies for incorporating visuals into content, vocabulary, and routines while fostering students’ visual literacy skills.
