Quantile Certification Program

The Quantile Certification Program, hosted by MetaMetrics, Inc. will offer a self-paced, multi-tiered professional development program on the Quantile Framework for Mathematics. This professional development program provides in depth information about the Quantile Framework for Mathematics ranging from foundational knowledge about Quantile Measures, the research that supports the Quantile Framework for Mathematics, and specific applications in the classroom to improve student learning and help students plan for entry into careers and/or postsecondary education. This program provides educators with actionable information on the tools and resources available to educators to improve student learning with the Quantile Framework for Mathematics. Educators will be expected to engage with the instruction in the program and demonstrate their knowledge through the completion of performance tasks, assessments, and knowledge checks. By completing the Quantile Certification Program educators will be able to make data-driven decisions to personalize instruction for their students. Educators will be considered Subject Matter Experts of the Quantile Framework for Mathematics and its applications, and be able to educate both parents and other educators about the Quantile Framework for Mathematics, its benefits in the classroom, and how to leverage these research-based measures to improve student learning. The Quantile Certification Program is organized into three tiers, consisting of four modules. Each tier within the Quantile Certification Program builds upon the information in the previous tier. Each module is 1-3 hours in length and the total time to complete the Quantile Certification Program is approximately 8 hours. All modules within the Quantile Certification Program will have common components and follow a set sequence. The components in each module include learning objectives, background knowledge, core information, supporting research, comprehensive summary, and assessments including classroom applications.
