Breaking Down Executive Functioning Skills   3 hours

Learn how to assess Executive Functioning, identify needs, and teach in a way that supports your students.  This training will review goal writing and how to work within the learner’s current demands.

Evidence-Based Practice for Autism Spectrum Disorder   3 hours

This training will cover some of the most common used Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs) and how to implement them with students.

Stop Behavior Before it Starts   3 hours

Antecedent Intervention is one of the most effective ways to manage challenging behavior.  Learn how to identify the function of the behavior, make changes to avoid maladaptive behavior, and implement replacement behavior.

Neurodiversity Makes Life Better (focus on teenage students)   3 hours

This training will explain what neurodiversity is, the strengths it brings to students, educators and schools, and why it is an essential part of a better life for all. Participants will gain an understanding of neurodiversity as a whole, how to negotiate challenging situations, solutions for executive functioning deficits, and communication strategies that meet the needs of everyone.

Brain Differences in Autism Spectrum Disorder   1.5 hours

In this 90 minute virtual training, learn about the brain structure, the difference in autism, and how this portrays itself.  Understanding brains with autism creates better interventions.

Using Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs) To Teach Safety Skills   1.5 hours

Safety is priority.  Learn how to use different EBPs to teach your students safety information and strategies.

Girls with Autism   1.5 hours

Girls with autism present differently and experience unique challenges.  Learn about girls with autism and what their supports can look like.

Educating Parents and Peers about Autism   1.5 hours

Helping parents and peers understand autism spectrum can be challenging.  Learn some key phrases and analogies to explain autism spectrum disorder and intervention approaches.
